Dr. Stine Gry Kristensen

Dr. Stine Gry is a biologist and senior scientist, currently serving as Head of the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology at the University Hospital of Copenhagen in Denmark. Her primary area of expertise is fertility preservation in girls and young women, and she has more than 15 years of experience in the cryopreservation of human ovarian tissue through her work with the Danish Fertility Preservation Program. Dr. Gry holds key leadership roles in the field, including serving as Basic Science Officer in the ESHRE Special Interest Group on Fertility Preservation and as a member of the Executive Board of ReproUnion. Her research focuses on human follicle development and the regulatory mechanisms underlying early folliculogenesis. She is also actively involved in developing 3D culture systems for isolated follicles and in optimizing follicle survival in transplanted frozen-thawed ovarian tissue.
